She was predeceased by : her husband Jim Johnston; her son Rick Johnston; and her parents, Robert Gillespie and Isabel Gillespie (Reevie). She is survived by : her children, Rob, Amanda Johnston, Kim Johnston and Kent Brittain; her daughter-in-law Connie Johnston; her grandchildren, Kesha, Travis Clarke, Austin Johnston, Alicia Ireland, Desiree Johnston, Rayna, Blake Johnston, Abi and Blake Brittain; her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Doreen Clarke and Maverick Johnston; her brothers, Wayne, Marion Gillespie and Barry Gillespie; and her brother-in-law Harold (Etoile Johnston). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
