She was predeceased by: her husband Elmars Gelzins. She is survived by: her daughter Elva Palo (Kuldar); her grandchildren, Randel (Meaghan), Aleksandra (Justin), Heili (Justin), Linda-Marie (Benjamin) and Kai (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Mila, Vince and Alina; and her niece Annemarie.
