It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maria Benedet of Woodbridge, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 89, on June 1, 2025. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She is survived by: her husband Luigi; her daughters, Patricia and Rita; her sister Diletta (Stolf); and her sister-in-law Liliana (Gobbo). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
