We bid farewell to Matilde Simonin of Woodbridge, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 30, 2025 at the age of 93. Matilde touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Matilde leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Matilde may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Luigi; her children, Franco and Luisa; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Louie, Safia and Malek.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, ON L4L1S6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Beechwood Cemetery (Vaughan, ON L4K1A7).
