He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Anne MacQuatt; his children, Mark MacQuatt and Shelley Moore (Dan); his sister Jean Peck (late Leonard); and his parents, Norman MacQuatt and Rachel MacQuatt (Wilson).

He is survived by: his son Ray MacQuatt; his grandchildren, Meagan, Brooke and Cooper; and his sisters-in-law, Dawn Ray (Lee), Marilyn Ring and Fay Mills (Paul).
