She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Thompson and Pearl Thompson; her husband Joe; and her siblings, Ruby, Rob and Ron Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn and Peter (Deana); her grandchildren, Jake (Jenna), Luke, Sam, Nick and Charlie; and her brother James Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
