We announce the death of Bill Vording (Woodstock, Ontario), who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 74. Bill will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Bill will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Bill will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Bill’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Finley; his parents, Cornelius (Jantje Vording) and Tavistock; and his sister Jane. He is survived by: his children, Scott, Steve, Shawn, Tim and Christy; and his brothers, John, Raph, Jack and Luke.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4).
