He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Beatrice (McCorquodale); and his siblings, Frances and Joey. He is survived by: his significant other Nora Moreland; his children, Rob (Lisa) and Teresa (Jamie); his grandsons, Trenton, Connor and Caleb Moreland; his pet Pebbles; his in-laws, Joyce Rupert, Betty, Ted Scott and Marjorie Rupert; his siblings, Georgina and John (Janice); and his in-laws, Frank, Howard (Rose), John (Linda), Darlene (Bruce), Elaine (Darryl) and Carol (Mark). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Reception to follow at the Navy Club (959 James St, Woodstock, ON N4S 8X8), In lieu of flowers, the family would like to have charitable donations made out to Woodingford Lodge (https://www.oxfordcounty.ca) Woodstock or the Alzheimer Society SouthWest Partners.
