Christel Neuhoefel Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christel Neuhoefel (Woodstock, Ontario), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Christel Neuhoefel to show support.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Hasso and Hanni (Johannes); and her stepgrandson Gord. She is survived by: her children, Karl (Nina) and Petra (Dwight); her grandchildren, John (Tess), Kathleen, Heather, Jillian and Beth; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Ruby, Naevy and Wells. She is also survived by several step great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Smith-LeRoy Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home (69 Wellington St N, Woodstock, ON N4S6P7).

Donations can be made to Diabetes, Heart and Stroke, Schizophrenia Society or charity of your choosing.

“I met Christel in 2011, and our friendship grew into something truly special. We shared stories, laughter, and a love for nature. Each Fall, we gathered colourful leaves to make art, and at Christmas we decorated her room while listening to Elvis songs. She was an excellent painter and very creative. I loved my Sunday visits with her and cherished them. Christel, you will always be in my heart and I love you. May you rest peacefully in light and beauty forever.”
