He was predeceased by: his grandson Nicholas Van Dyk; his great grandchildren, Lily, Avery, Kallie Jack, Lincoln, Mickey Pfaff, Spencer, Mara Garant, Keaton, Everett Van Dyk, Noah, Leo and Archie Hogan; his sister Jean Emerson (late Dick); and his sister-in-law Agnes King (late John).

He is survived by: his spouse Leone; his daughters, Carolyn (David Rumble) of Blenheim and Margaret (Ken Van Dyk) of Woodstock; and his grandchildren, Kerry, Andrew Jack, Jackie, Dave Pfaff, Jessica, Will Garant, Joshua, Dallas Van Dyk, Laura and Stephen Hogan.
