Elizabeth Calic Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2026, at the age of 89, Elizabeth Calic (Woodstock, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Calic; her son Simon; her parents, George Brattengeier and Maria Brattengeier; and her brother-in-law Joe Szabo.
She is survived by: her children, Betty, Frank, Heather and John (Chris); her grandchildren, Andrea, Carly, Adam, Andrew, Trevor and Kristen; and her sister Maria Szabo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-LeRoy Chapel (69 Wellington St N, Woodstock, ON N4S6P7). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4T0M7). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (584872 Beachville Rd, Beachville, ON N0J1A0).
