In the sacred silence of farewell, Elsie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elsie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Gunter; and her grandson Michael. She is survived by: her sister Joyce Govier (Ken); her stepbrother Pete Piggott (Norma); and her children, John, David and Patricia.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
