He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Seitz (Bannister). He is survived by: his father Ralph Seitz of Tillsonburg; his children, Shawn (Kari) of Tillsonburg, Ryan (Angela) of Tillsonburg and Tara of Tillsonburg; his grandchildren, Spencer, Jayna, Brianna, Adrianne, Brodie and Cody; his stepchildren, Jenna and Matthew McDowell; and his siblings, Pam (Tina), Brenda (Lee) and Dean (Christine). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel (262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3R7).
