It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George McEwen of Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 98, on April 2, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his siblings, Ray, Lorne and Jean; and his wife Eva. He is survived by : his children, Heather Stock (George), Murray (Lynne) and Ken (Linda); his grandchildren, Laura Stafford, Gordon Stock, Jennifer Stock (Ryan), Christopher McEwen (Hollie) and Carolyn McEwen (Erica); his great grandchildren, Quinn, Mikayla, Matilda, Eloise and Caiden; and his close friend Lu Topham.
Due to COVID 19 and the family's wishes to keep friends and relatives safe and well at home, the family has chosen to celebrate George's life with a private service graveside officiated by Rev. Jeff Smith of St. David's United Church, Woodstock.
If desired, donations to the following organizations that George so strongly believed in and generously supported would be welcome. The Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the S.P.C.A. or V.O.N.
