He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Sigl and Maria Sigl (Glassner); his wife Nancy Ann (Glaab); and his siblings, Karl (Maria) and Maria.

He is survived by: his sons, Karl (Heather) and Joe; his grandchildren, Evan, Rocco, Sirinya, Dylan, Brynn and Leeanna Kozic (Nick); and his sister-in-law Ruth Glaab. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
