Howard Blakeley Boakes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Blakeley Boakes (Woodstock, Ontario), born in Paris, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Boakes and Martha Boakes; and his brothers, Ken and Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Marlene (Edwards); his sons, Kevin (Marla) and Kerry (Shannon); his grandchildren, Aaron (Alicia), Ethan, Blakeley (Christa) and Ryan (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Danika, Ainsley and Emmett; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Boakes, Janet Clark and Stanley Edwards (Rita). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oxford Centre Hall (505386 Old Stage Rd, Woodstock, ON N4S7V8).
