It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jake Velda of Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hendrick Velda and Hendrikje Velda; and his siblings, Berend Hendriks Velda (Renske Meine Boetes), Gelske Hendriks Velda (Marten Alberts Haijema), Grietje Hendriks Velda (Pieter Schafsma) and Tjimkje Hendriks (Pim).

He is survived by : his wife Sharon Lynn Velda; his grandchildren, Melissa, Christopher, Devon, Brandon, Tess, Josee and Mitchel; and his great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Chelsea and William. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
