He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Leslie and Victoria Leslie (Atkins); his son Mark Leslie (Beth); and his siblings, Clarence, Marcella, Bernice, Beatrice and Eileen.
He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Leslie (Stoakley); his siblings, William Leslie (Diane) and Barbara Coulson (late Lawrence); his children, James Leslie Jr. (Marianne), Vicki (Leslie), Benoit (Gabrielle) and Gregory Leslie (Brenda); his grandchildren, Allison Santos (Chad), Derek Leslie (Emily), Stephanie Leslie (Bill), Rylan Benoit (Krista), Nathan Benoit (Nikki), Marcella Benjamin (Kyle), Matthew Leslie (Gabriel), Troy Leslie (Eric), Sean Leslie (Shauna), Erika Leslie (Geoff Killing), Laura McIntosh (Gregory) and Cameron Leslie (Nicole); and his friends, Shreveport and Sudbury. He is also survived by 25 great‑grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends.
