He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Alexander McLeod and Gertrude Elizabeth McLeod (Mathers); his sister Donna May Ford (Robert); his daughters, Julie Elizabeth Patterson (Scott), Lisa Anne Dickert, Christine Marie McLeod and Monica Lynn Hart (Scott); his grandchildren, Brittney, Danielle, Christopher, Cassandra and Hayden; and his great grandchildren, Sloane, Cole, Klein, Riley, Vann, Nathan and Liam. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and family friends.

“Mr McLeod was my Immigration Officer when I came from Scotland to Simcoe in 1981 as a nanny. He was one of the nicest, kindest people I have ever met. We moved to Woodstock a few years ago and I called him. He didn’t remember me but it was a long time ago. Rest In Peace Mr McLeod”
