Janet Shields Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Shields in Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Stewart and Janet Stewart; her children, Garry (Linda), Jan (Scott) and Lee; and her grandchildren, Laura, Jennifer (Jack), Nicole (Alexander) and Gregory (Courtney).

A reception will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Home She So Loved. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Calendar Hillview Cemetery.
