The world bids farewell to Joan Wieder (Woodstock, Ontario), departing on June 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Joan leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Julian (Mariane), Jimmy, Leni, Jeffrey and Cathy (Edward). She was also cherished by her 11 grandchildren, as well as their spouses and 14 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Epiphany (560 Dundas St, Woodstock, ON N4S1C7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory can be made to Canadian Burn Survivors of Canada, Life Water Canada, or Church of the Epiphany.
