With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Strachan (Woodstock, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on November 19, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Strachan and Irene Strachan; his brothers, Don and Gerald; and his brother-in-law Murray Arthur.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son Gregory; his brother Tom (Pauline); and his siblings-in-law, Stella Strachan, Donna Strachan, Laura Puhakka (Rick), Nancy Michie (Lloyd), Janet Iler (Rick) and Howard Arthur (Eileen).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home Burial and Cremation Services (845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
