He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Sears and Francis Sears; and his siblings, Eva (Morris) and Dr. Ron Sears. He is survived by : his children, David (Evie), Joanne Young (Bruce), Catharine Rutter (late Donald), Stephen (Gayle), Barbara Clayton (John), Michael Masuda (Melody) and Ricky.
