We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2026, at the age of 100, Katherine Kostiuk (Woodstock, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Katherine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Katherine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist (92 Terrace Hill St, Brantford, ON N3R1G3). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Volodymyr Ukrainain Cemetery (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodstock Hospital for the kind and loving care shown to Katherine.
