She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William Burton and Margaret McKibbin; her stepfather Wilf McKibbin; her sister Sheila Brooks; and her great-nephew Thomas Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Dickson; her children, Jen Noakes (Dennis) and Amanda Shuman (Lenox); her grandchildren, Kaie, Arwa and Emelia; and her siblings, Andrew Burton (Mary), Kris Burton (Patricia) and Lorraine Hamilton (Peter). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
