He was predeceased by : his son Jim; his parents, Clifford and Elanore; his stepson Randal Talbot; and his brothers, Frank and Bill.

He is survived by : his wife Marjorie; his sons, Brian, John (Sheila) and Bruce; his stepchildren, Melodie Thibeault, Cyndi Concil (Perry), Don Talbot (Angela) and Stacy Irwin (Paul); and his sisters, Carol and Pearl. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He had a great sense of humour, and a real appreciation for a good home cooked meal. His talent for woodworking was amazing and I treasure the items I have from him. From day one, Mack made me and my family feel like a welcome addition to his family. It was easy to see that he truly loved and appreciated my mother and that he made her very happy. Melodie”
