It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Elizabeth Birtch of Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Frank "Barney" Birtch; her children, Marilyn Oosterveld and Ross Birtch; and her siblings, Marion Norman (Chuck), Alexander (Gwen), Allan (Madeline) and Neil (Nancy).

She is survived by : her children, Jean Smart (Alan) and Mark Birtch (Karen); her grandchildren, David Smart (Melissa), Dawn Dykeman (Donald), Steven Oosterveld, Ross Birtch (Jenna Piper), Jillyan Birtch and Garrett Birtch (Isabel Stanley); and her sibling Jean Holland (late Mac). She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
