Michael left this world on December 3, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schlieman (Jack) and Audrey Schlieman; and his sister Susan Ford. He is survived by: his girlfriend Angela Van Ryswyk; his children, John Schlieman (Carly) and Julia Schlieman; his granddaughter Violet Schlieman; his sisters, Penny Dietrich (Terry) and Michelle Schlieman (Uwe); his mother-in-law Mary Van Ryswyk; his brother-in-law Rick Ford (Susan); Ken Van Ryswyk (Lori) and Steven Van Ryswyk (Victoria). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

A reception will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
