He was predeceased by: his former wife Cheryl; and his sibling Wynand. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Groen; his grandchildren, Jacob and Madilynn; his sons, Anthony Groen and Leslie Nekoda (Doug); his wife Sharon; his siblings, Simone, Andy (Jeanette), Trish (Nile) and Henry (Lee); and his friends, Norm, Cheryl and Robin Armstrong. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
