He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Stafford and Fedeliah Stafford; his brother Gary; his granddaughter Virginia; and his pet Duke.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Stafford (Amanda), Rodney Stafford (Trina Fraser), Randi Daniel (Dwayne), Rebecca Nichols (Nathan) and Matthew Stafford (Kelly); his grandchildren, Brandon, Daryn, Dakota, Emma, Sylvia, Cohen, Raelynn and Asher; his great grandchildren, Thea and Liam; his siblings, Dwight, Michael, Marylou, Bev and Bruce; and his pet Misha.
