He was predeceased by: his wife Giselle Gingerich; his parents, Victor Gingerich and Audrey Gingerich; and his siblings, Shirley Law, Connie Tucker and Brian Gingerich.

He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Gingerich and Nicole Renkema (Ken); his grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Renkema; and his brothers, Doug Gingerich (Kathy) and Ron Gingerich (Helen).
