He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bender and Ruby Bender; his siblings, Elva Poole, Clare and Anne Bender; his brother-in-law Neil Dunford; and his in-laws, Wilfred, Mildred Kreiger, Marion, Mel Riesberry, Anne, Terry Hoelscher, Fred Kreiger, Pat Kreiger and Fred Uberig.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his siblings, Shirley Dunford, Wayne (Audrey Bender), Joyce (Wayne Jantzi), Ken (Beth Bender) and Tim (Donna Bender); and his in-laws, Evelyn, Alvin Doering, Joyce Uberig, Steve Kreiger and Ken Kreiger.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sakura House, Woodstock and would be appreciated by the family.
