He was predeceased by: his wife Blanche; his parents, Samuel Milton and Ada Milton; his brother Murray; and his sister-in-law Hazel.

He is survived by: his children, David (Mary Grace), Douglas (Mary), Donald and Catherine (Thomas). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
