She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Beckham; and her siblings, Joseph Bogdan (Fran), Emil Bogdan and Rose Hession (Lloyd). She is survived by: her children, Kent Beckham (Melissa Doyle), Karen Hughes (Ben), Margaret Ellen Horrocks (Andrew) and Alexandra Cross (Jody); and her grandchildren, Kirk, Zachary (Kate), Brittany (Mark), Michael, Adam, Julia (Fabrice), Jordan (Cora), Alyssa (Owen), Hannah and Joel. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Memorial donations in Shirley's memory can be made to AgeCare West Williams Kingsdale Unit.
