She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Dawson; her children, Audrey Benbow (Kelvin), Darlene MacGregor (Alec), Brenda Benbow (Adrian), Glen Dawson and Teresa Dawson (McLeod); her grandchildren, Cheryl, Gary, Adam, Carrissa, Amanda, Eric, Nick, Alicia, Barbie, Jason and Tyler; her parents, Leon Dias and Josephine Dias; her son Gordon Dawson; her siblings, Leona (Joe Wright) and Robert Dias; her brother-in-law Ken Dawson; and her nephew Rob Dias.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Patricia Dias.
