He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Smith and Mary Smith; his siblings, Terry (Noreen), Margaret (Clendon), Patrick (Gertrude) and Dominic (Edythe); and his niece Breanna.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Smith; his children, David, Stephen and Katie (Jason); his grandchildren, Tyler, Mikayla, Madison, Gavin and Emily; and his sister Joan (late Norm). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4T0M7). A reception was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to VON Sakura House.
