He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth and John Alexander; and his siblings, Mervin, Donna, Rita and Fred.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Lynn Currah (Terry), Glenna Kunkel (Mike), Penny Demarest (Rob), Shelley Kaufman (Steve) and Gary Corbett (Suzin); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Tyler), Brad (Natasha), Jason (Yaima), Taylor, Jeremy (Sarah), Tawnya, Stefanie, Scott (Michelle), Lindsay (Simon) and Mackenzie; and his great grandchildren, Avree, Kiyah, Koltyn, Karma, Ryker, Madelyn, Weston, Emery, Parker and Elijah.
