She is survived by: her children, Ann, Ernie Rauwerda of Simcoe, Ralph, Tanya DeJong of Petrolia, Ken and Shelly DeJong of Chatham; her grandchildren, Kevin, Denise Rauwerda, David, Brittany Rauwerda, Mark, Chantelle Rauwerda, Calvin DeJong, Caleb DeJong and Cordel DeJong; her siblings, Sylvia VanKlaveren, Janet Feenstra, Ida DeVlught, John Ferwerda, Gerben Ferwerda (Carmel), Tina Bouwman (Charlie), Jerry Ferwerda (Sylvia), Klaas Ferwerda and Linda Horton (Dave); and her siblings-in-law, Klaas DeJong (Vivian), Cisca DeJong and John Tamming.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Covenant Christian Church (5783 Camlachie Rd, Wyoming, ON N0N1T0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
