She was predeceased by: her grandchild Sydney Smith; her great grandchildren, A. J. and Boyd Alderman; her parents, Frank Johnson and Winnifred Johnson; Elsie Smith, Louise Smith, Bernice and Hugh Boyle.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Smith; her children, Dwayne Smith (Elaine), Joanne Alderman (Doug) and Darryl Smith (Colleen); her grandchildren, Greg Smith (Jamie-Lynn), Tyler Smith (Kelli), Lindsay Alderman (Shawn Grondin) and Brad Alderman (Erika); her great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Garnet, Hazel Smith, Nora, Addison Smith, Liam, Lola, Millie Davey, Ivy, Brooks, Ricky, Alex, Emma, Belle, Noel, Willie and Luke; and her sister Donna Kokavecz (Andy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Inc. (4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, ON N0N1R0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wyoming Fair Building (595 Main St, Wyoming, ON N0N1T0).
