Margaret Boer-VanderWal Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Boer-VanderWal (Wyoming, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hindrik Wierenga and Grietje Wierenga; her husband John VanderWal; and her son-in-law Tim Gravelle. She is survived by: her children, Cathy (Mark Smith), Fred Boer (Lorna Rourke), Edith-Ann (Harry Poort), Tony (Talin BoerTeresa) and Rick Sennema; and her sister Anna Dykstra. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church (4524 Confederation Line, Wyoming, ON N0N1R0).
