It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Laverne Atkinson (Wyoming, Ontario), who passed away on February 21, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Thelma Atkinson (King); his parents, William Atkinson and Blanche Atkinson (Anderson); and his siblings, Dorothy Rand, Donald Atkinson, Harvey Atkinson, Margaret Maitland-Johnson (Peggy), Hazel Randall-Harper and Blanche Blackstock.

He is survived by : his spouse Jean Atkinson (McDougall Morrison); his child Gary L. Atkinson (Sandy); his grandchildren, Greg Atkinson and Drew; his stepchildren, Jim Morrison (late Jacey), Barb Ferguson (Jim) and Carol Karowich; his siblings, Betty Wilkins (late Alex), Shirley O'Brien (Tom), Tom Atkinson (Joanne), Jean Donaghy (late Patrick) and Beverley Clark (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Arthur McEwen (late Donna) and Marjorie Harris (late David). He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
