He was predeceased by : his spouse Linda Hurst; his parents, Nina Jane and Albert Edward; his stepdaughters, Denise D. Macksey and Cindy S. Amos; his siblings, Elizabeth Jane Naylor (Betty) and Albert E. Jr.; and his wife Marie.

He is survived by : his children, Sarah Hill (Kevin) of New Port Richey and Chaney R. Hurst of Madison; and his sibling John Hurst (Nell) of Wyoming.
