She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Kimmett and Albert Kimmett. She is survived by: her stepfather Gordon "Poppy" Garrison; her husband Thomas John Mercer; her sons, Tom Mercer (Barb) and Eric Mercer (Emma); her granddaughter Lauren Mercer; her siblings, Brian Kimmett (Michele), Marlene Brooks (Doug) and Cheryl Alkenbrack (Donald); and her brothers-in-law, Bob Mercer (Lori) and Melvyn Mercer (Ginette). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Payne Funeral Home (178 Main St, Odessa, ON K0H2H0).
In place of flowers, donations in Yvonne's memory may be made to the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee through Payne Funeral Home.
