She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Ed" Smith; her daughter Catherine; her parents, Leo Devine and Esther Devine; her sister Marjorie; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Arnold and Noah Rowland.

She is survived by: her children, Patti, Jamie Hunt, Deb Smith, Mike Horner, Jeff Smith and Ann Marie Astolfi-Smith; her grandchildren, Melanie, Nick McKenzie, Bradley Hunt, David Hunt, Megan, Brian Schroeder, Jennifer Smith and Michael Smith; her great grandchildren, Gemma, Reid and Hazel McKenzie; and her sisters, Donna (Stuart McLinchey) and Delores Rowland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
