We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2025, at the age of 90, Marien Vanderhoek of Zurich, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Marien may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home (118 Dashwood Main St, Dashwood, ON N0M 1N0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Jessica's House Residential Hospice, Exeter, the South Huron Hospital Foundation, Exeter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
