Philip Regier Obituary
We announce the death of Philip Regier of Zurich, Ontario, who passed away on August 19, 2026. Philip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Regier and Ursula Regier; and his brother Eugene Regier. He is survived by: his wife Linda Regier (Overholt); his children, Patty, Joey Groot of Zurich, Wayne and Jana Regier of Caledon East; his grandchildren, Cassie (Antony), Josh (Eliscia), Ben (Karli), Drew, Nathan, Kaden, Jack, Maya and Bretten; and his siblings, Marie (Claude Boisvert), Sharon Rau (Paul Hohner), Cecil (Wanda Regier), Valerie (John Van Oosterhout) and Debbie Regier of Zurich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (456 Main St S, Exeter, ON N0M1S6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (22 Mary St, Zurich, ON N0M2T0).
Donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario, South Huron Hospital Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
