It is with sadness that the passing of Albert Thomas Hackett (Alberton, Prince Edward Island) is shared. Albert, born on August 1, 1935, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Hackett; his father Albert Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Leforte, Mahala Cull, Ethel Granato, Marion, Roy, Melvin, Alfred and John Hackett.
He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Hackett (Nancy), Arlene Perry (Harley), Gordon Hackett (Cheryl) and Lois Perry (late Herb); his siblings, Carver Hackett (Joyce) and Shirley Hackett; and his grandchildren, Johnathan, Jeffery, Jacob, Jessica, Amy, Ally, Gina, Devin, Crystal, Shane and Sabrina. He is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel (419 Main St, Alberton, PE C0B1B0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Simon and St. Jude Church (313 Church St, Tignish, PE C0B2B0).
