He is survived by : his spouse Marion Lucy Bernard; his children, Tommy Bernard (Phyllis) of Nail Pond, Tammy Arsenault (Blair) of Nail Pond and Tyler Bernard (Jessica) of Brackley Beach; his siblings, Roger Bernard (Marilyn) of Kensington, Dorothy Keough (Clayton) of Nail Pond, Leonard Bernard (late Frances) of Nail Pond, Russell Bernard (Etta) of Nail Pond, Doloris Gallant (Henry) of Nail Pond and Ralph Bernard (Linda) of Nail Pond; his siblings-in-law, Esther Bernard of Alma, Clarence Perry (late Joan) of Nail Pond and Alfred DesRoches (late Marie) of Tignish; and his godson Randy Martin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, friends, and by his many.
