He was predeceased by : his parents, Alyre Handrahan and Frances Handrahan; his brother Stephen; his sister-in-law Linda Hobin (Handrahan); his nephew Ian Handrahan; his niece Stephanie Handrahan; and his brother-in-law Mario Bénard.

He is survived by : his siblings, Carl, Helen Perry, Rose Marie Richard (Louis), Ronnie Handrahan (Mary), Linda Fraser (Clarence), George Hendrahan (Jean), Arlene Shea (Cletus), Lester Handrahan (Kelly Murphy), Leonard Handrahan (Angela), Kay Pitre (Ellery), Danny Handrahan, Patsy Handrahan, Gary Richard, Terry Handrahan (Donna Muir) and Helen Handrahan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
