He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmerson Arthur and Hazel Olga Hardy; and his siblings, Allison Fraser Hardy (Bud), Muriel Erma Griffiths, Cleve Allan Hardy, Catherine Nadine Spottiswood, Mabel Lois Shea, Frederick Melvin Hardy and Elizabeth Ardell MacDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Cora Anna Hardy; his children, Pamela Gamester (Wayne) of Calgary and Gary Hardy of Charlottetown; his grandchildren, Chelsa and Emily Gamester of Calgary; and his siblings, Vernon Lorne Hardy of Elmsdale, Christina Isabelle Hardy of Toronto and Dorothy Hilda Gray of Lindsay. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends.
